After our partnership with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, 2025 was once again an intense year for Hype: we went through major challenges—sometimes difficult, particularly on the social front—but we stayed the course and, above all, reached key milestones for the future of zero-emission taxis.
👉 A few figures to sum up 2025:
80%: our success rate in public tenders in the Île-de-France region, significantly increasing our market share, particularly in PRM (persons with reduced mobility)
x3 the number of major events that chose Hype as their exclusive taxi provider, notably through Hype Lounge
x5 the number of independent drivers who joined the Hype app
+10 years during which Hype has offered only 100% electric vehicles (4x less polluting than a hybrid vehicle – ICCT source)
We also completed our strategic shift from hydrogen to 100% battery-electric vehicles, enabling us to accelerate our national growth in 2026.
📖 Taxi News looks back at this new turning point in its January 2026 issue through an interview with Mathieu Gardies, and breaks down the key challenges facing the profession: energy transition, social model, and the expectations of public authorities and businesses.
